JNMC Free health camp at Akbarpur

Vplnews, Aligarh, January 12: The Department of Community Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) with doctors of other JNMC departments organised a health camp in the Akbarpur Village of Aligarh District.
Over 800 village residents were given free medical check-ups during the camp.
Mr Rajesh Kumar Pandey (SSP Aligarh), Mr Upendra Singh Neetu (Chairman, Zila Panchayat, Aligarh) and Mr Thankur Dalveer Singh (MLA and Ex Minister Government of Uttar Pradesh) inaugurated the camp.
Mr Pandey appreciated the efforts of AMU doctors. Meanwhile, the other guests praised the doctors for successfully organising the Camp.
Prof Ali Amir (Chairperson, Dept of Community Medicine) said that it is our duty to look after health conditions of underprivileged.
Dr Saleem Mohammad Khan, Dr Arman, Dr Mudassir, Dr Shyam, Dr Abdullah, Dr Zaid, Dr Shahnawaz, Dr Aquib, Dr Adnan, Dr Ahmad, Dr Anam and Dr Akansha were in the team of doctors. Dr Tabssum Nawab (In-charge) played important role in organising the camp.
Members of ‘Soch’, NGO of AMU students, Sartaj Alam, Furqan Ahmad, Sachin, Mubashhira, Priya, Wafa, Sabiha and Farhana organised a street-play on mental health awareness during the camp.
Akhil Bhartiya Chatriya Maha Sabha, Aligarh collaborated with Department of Community Medicine, JNMC to organise the camp.
