AMU students excel in ‘Anveshan-2018’

VPLNEWS, ALIGARH February 28: For the first time in the history of the Aligarh Muslim University, its three students have excelled in various events in the Research Scholars’ North Zone Competition, “Anveshan-2018”, organized by the Association of Indian Universities at Manav Rachna Institute of International Studies, Faridabad.
Tabish Imtiaz, M.Tech. (Final year) student from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, AMU got the first prize in the Engineering and Technology category; while Siddarth Bhardwaj, a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, won first prize in Objective and Result Oriented Projects category.
In agriculture category, Zishan Ahmad belonging to AMU’s Plant Biotechnology Section, Department of Botany, received the second prize.
The three students will now represent AMU at the national level event to be held later.
