Only education & business are tool of empowerment of Kashmiri youths : Amood Gulzar

To motivate Kashmiri youths for taking up entrepreneurship and join mainstream the Jammu & Kashmir Federation for Education and Development organized an event Education: A Gateway to Prosperity and Development in the Urdu department auditorium, Aligarh Muslim University wherein the scholars dwelled on various related issues.

Addressing the august participants, Prof. Mahmood S Khan said that education influences human behavior which indirectly guides him or her to take positive or negative actions and chart out their future. He called upon youths to take up positive actions.

Dr. Farooq Ahmad Dar convincingly presented a thesis on the role of education in peace and development of Kashmir. He talked in detail that how Kashmiri youths may brighten their future by using education as tool.

Dr. Aftab Alam cited many examples to advocate that education is powerful tool for progress and prosperity. He called upon the participants to empower themselves with new ideas.

Founder of JKFED Amood Gulzar said that presently the Kashmir valley is reeling under disturbances and terrorism which is destroying future of young generation. He pointed out that the Kashmiri youths are inclined to progress and embrace business space. He said that the future of Jammu & Kashmir and the Kashmiri youths may be secured only by adopting education and entrepreneurship.

He further said that Kashmir needs economic growth development urgently which will certainly lead youths to have better future. Amood Gulzar elaborated on the development in education system among the minorities and underprivileged sections of society. He advocated shifting the education system from conventional to modern.

Former AMU Students Union Vice President and Businessman Syed Mazin Husain Zaidi elaborated on the linkage of business with education while former AMUSU cabinet member Ghazala Ahmad spoke on the need of enhancing female education Kashmir valley because they are worst suffer of terrorism therein.

Mehraj Uddin Ganaie explained the concept of Karobar launched by JKFED and introduced the working module of JKFED.

It may be known that JKFED is working tirelessly to quell the terrorism in the valley by motivating Kashmiri youths to take up their educational empowerment and joining adopting entrepreneurship and business in a big way.

The event became a big success as more than 449 Kashmiri youths have registered and participated in it . The event has been hosted by Irfan Bashir.
